This lithoserigraph is entitled “Sluggers.” This Looney Tunes limited edition is a tribute to 11 players who have hit 500 or more home runs during their major league careers; Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Frank Robinson, Mike Schmidt, Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Willie McCovey, Ernie Banks and Eddie Mathews. This image has been recreated by Warner Bros. animators Charles and Tom McKimson. Both Charles and Tom worked with brother Robert McKimson, longtime major creative force during cartooning’s “Golden Age” at Warner Bros.
