Popeye – SIGNED Myron Waldman Hand-Painted Cel – Dancing on the Beach

A 12-field hand-painted limited-edition cel entitled “Dancing on the Beach.” This cel features Olive Dancing for Popeye Brutus jealously spies from between the bushes. The cel was created by animator Myron Waldman and is numbered. Waldman (deceased) had over 70 years of experience in the field of animation, having worked as a head animator at Fleischer Studios in the 1930’s during the Golden Age of Animation and later at Paramount’s Famous Studios.  He is renowned for his work on some of the best Popeye, Betty Boop and Casper the Friendly Ghost cartoons.   Is presented registered to a lithograph background in a protective sleeve with a certificate of authenticity. 12.5×10.5 * Edition Number presented may not be the one shipped.
